Big Cancer Hook-up special guest: Jody Mason
Jody has been off on disability for the past 15 months as his current schedule of chemo every two weeks made it difficult to stay at work. He had to give up some former hobbies and contact sports after having a power port installed, and he currently spends his time watching TV, playing Xbox, reading comic books, hanging out with friends when possible, and napping. He said, “Naps are awesome.”

Big Cancer Hook-up special guest: Robin Harry
Robin grew up in the Caribbean island of Dominica, but has lived in Toronto since the 1990s. She is currently doing her second undergraduate degree, a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, at the University of Toronto. She is a music junkie and sings in a gospel choir and says her dream job is to be a backup singer for my favourite musicians, but she’ll stick with health care, her other love.

Janice is a social worker who says her three children are her biggest accomplishment, and her favourite things to do are to spend time with them and her husband, Ian—especially when they’re travelling or being active in some way.

Chris is a freelance industrial and graphic designer who is currently working in Class Action Services as a claims evaluator. He also enjoys movies, TV, games, books, the Internet—basically anything that him procrastinate from the things he should be doing.

Remember: February's a short one
February can be a tough month in Canada — SAD kicks in, you can’t get outside as much, the studios are holding off on all the great movies, your favourite band got snowed in and couldn’t make the show. We know. But, we also know there will come an end, the birds will come back, we’ll only need one layer of clothing, and your YACC pals will be all over the Internet to keep you company in the meantime.
