Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC) is looking for volunteers and contributors to help build and strengthen our community! Whether you want to help by providing ideas for web content, activities or volunteering, YACC is interested to know how you’d like to contribute!
Many people in our community connect with us with offers to help, give back to their peers, with creative ideas for articles or activities, etc. Up until now, we have recruited volunteers based on our immediate needs having a separate application for each role. We now want to expand the opportunities to be engaged and make it easier for those of you who are interested to contribute! We want to build a beautiful list of people interested in contributing one way or another to YACC and our community.
Depending on your interest and our needs, we might connect quickly with you for additional information or it could take a little while, but we will keep this list going and will connect each time there is an opportunity.
Is there someone in your network who you think can contribute to the mission of YACC as a program volunteer? Send us their info through this form and we’ll reach out!
Note: Our peer-led program volunteers must have been diagnosed with cancer between 0-39 years old and currently be between 18 and 39ish. Supporters who are between 18-39ish and are supporting young adults with cancer can also apply.
