Localife St. John's has a laugh
Localife St. John’s patrons woke up Sunday morning with sore ribs and permanent laugh lines after enjoying a hilarious evening at Yuk Yuk’s Comedy Club. Our group met early for some great chats over delicious appetizers before the show began.

Localife Ottawa: How sweet it is (at the sugar shack)

After years of fending off requests from non-Shavers looking to acquire one of our coveted, signature yellow toques it appears a forger has entered the market. Early investigations lead back to Joe Feehan, the swindler implicated in last year’s black market hair trade which saw braids and ponytails donated during Shave season getting shipped off to a remote village nestled in the Himalayas.

Heather's blog: 2015 isn't about letting go; it's about taking risks
Last year was a year of growth for me. So far, 2015 is starting out to be a year of letting go and making big changes. In one version of the presentations I give at schools (I am constantly rewriting, revamping, and rediscovering), I encourage students to not be afraid to change the things that make them unhappy. I am now trying to put into practice what I preach.

Survivor aims to raise $1 for each new YA diagnosis with Shave
Chris Chow stopped cutting his hair back in August. He doesn’t like it, and thinks of it as a “hideous, massive” clump of hair on his head, but it’s part of the fourth stage of a type of remission recognition plan that sees him undertake a large philanthropic or personal venture each year.

Fundraiser was all fun and games
Nick White, Kristen Pike, and their friends held a board game night in support of YACC on March 5, 2015 at Quidi Vidi Brewery in St. John’s, NL. The group of about 30 people raised $98 to support young adults affected by cancer.
