I’m very excited to share a new Localife Winnipeg event with you!
Localife Winnipeg will be heading to Wheelies for a night of roller skating (or rollerblading) on Saturday January 10th 2026 for Wheelies Adult Only Skate Night from 7:30pm to 10:00pm!
Localife will cover entrance and skate rentals (you can also bring your own,) as well as some non-alcoholic beverages and snacks. If you’d prefer not to skate, that’s totally okay! We’d love for you to come and hang out.

December 13, 2025⭐Localife Winnipeg: Ice Skating at The Forks

I’m excited to share a new Localife Winnipeg event with you!
We’ll be gathering for an afternoon of ice skating and hot chocolate at The Forks from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday December 13th 2025. This is a family-friendly event!
We’ll be meeting at the Rink Under the Canopy, and for those who prefer not to skate, I’ll be grabbing a table or two just inside (near the entrance closest to the rink) where folks can warm up, sip hot chocolate, and connect.
If you have your own ice skates, please bring them along. If not, skate rentals are available on-site and will be covered by Localife! Hot chocolate will also be provided.
Be sure to dress for the weather and join us for a cozy afternoon of skating and good company!

November 16, 2025⭐Localife Winnipeg: Beading Circle
Boozhoo/hello YACCer!
Join us for an afternoon of creativity on Sunday, November 16th from 1:00–4:00pm at Transcona Library (1 Transcona Blvd, Winnipeg, MB.)
We’ll be guided by an Anishinaabe beadwork artist, who will walk us through creating our very own beaded poppy pins.
Whether you’re a seasoned beader or trying it for the very first time, everyone is welcome! If beading isn’t your thing that day, feel free to bring your own craft (knitting, sketching, embroidery etc) and come hang out.
All supplies will be provided, and we’ll have some light snacks and alcohol-free beverages.
This is a relaxed, come-as-you-are space where we can visit, create, and be in community together. We’d love to see you there!

We invite you to a cozy evening at Amaze in Corn! We’ll spend the evening exploring the corn maze and visiting the petting zoo. We’ll also gather at our reserved group site for a bonfire and barbecue where we will roast marshmallows and cook hot dogs and veggie dogs!
It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season and connect with others. Whether you come for the maze, the food, or simply the good company, we’d love to see you there.
