I identify as a bilingual (English/French) Canadian, straight, mother of two, two-time Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivor, one time cervical/ovarian cancer survivor, lover of all animals, bookworm, taking it one day at a time, recovering cake addict, stressed, blessed, and coffee obsessed, I don’t know where I’m going but I’m going.
Noelle (she/her) is gentle, imaginative, and kind. She is a young adult cancer survivor having been diagnosed with a relapse of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2015. She underwent chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. In 2016 she was diagnosed with cervical/ovarian cancer and underwent surgeries and chemotherapy at the age of 31 and was declared in remission in 2018.
She connected with YACC in 2015 through the Facebook group. She attended Retreat Yourself in B.C. and it is important for her to connect with the community.
