He’s a viking in athletic wear. Karl-Erik is dark blonde, bearded, and average height with an athletic build. Often accessorizes with funky sunglasses, odd shoes, and silver jewelry.
Karl-Erik (he/him) is adventurous, conscientious, and tenacious. He is a young adult cancer philosopher.
Diagnosed in 1997 with an optic glioma, he gradually lost his vision and became blind in 2007. He has experienced three brain surgeries, radiation therapy, and over five years of different chemotherapies.
Recognizing his own unresolved cancer-related traumas, Karl-Erik decided to join YACC in 2023. Between competitive sports, school, and business, he is eager to contribute to the community from his wealth of experience, and just as eager to learn and grow from others!
