I identify as a woman, an artist, a writer, and a bereaved supporter to the most amazing big sister. I am passionate about creating experiences of joy, support, and love for those around me.
Emily (she/her) is a creator who does her best to radiate sunshine wherever she goes. She is a bereaved supporter to her big sister, Sarah, who was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in 2016.
Through Sarah, Emily has attended many Survivor Conferences, and wanted to find a way to continue being part of the YACC community after Sarah’s passing in 2020.
Emily is passionate about creating better experiences for cancer thrivers, and aims to share her own experiences with — and provide assistance or advice — to other supporters whenever possible.
