Emily (she/her) is creative, thoughtful, and ambitious.
Having been diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma at age 25, she underwent seven rounds of chemo and 35 rounds of radiation.
She has been connected to YACC since 2022 at the time of her diagnosis. Since then, she has participated in many aspects of YACC including Localife, Survivor Conference, YACC Chats, and more. Having a way to connect to other local cancer survivors while having fun is the main reason she became a Localife leader.
