As some of you may know, I am about to embark on another new adventure — baby number two is due in two and a half weeks. That means I will be leaving YACC for another year, and while I am very excited about the new addition to our family, I am sad to be leaving my YACC family yet again.
Since returning to work in 2013, after my first maternity leave, I have had the great pleasure of working with our Survivors In Action (SIA) through our Localife, YACCtivists, and Big Cancer Hook Up programs. I will miss these programs greatly over the next twelve months, however I am content in the knowledge that they are in very good hands.
Ms. Shali Manuel will be jumping in to take on Localife and YACCtivists, while Ms. Nicole Furey will be responsible for the Big Cancer Hook Up. Each of these ladies will bring fresh ideas and bounds of energy to these programs, and I am grateful to them for taking this on while I am away.
Here’s to new adventures!
