Localife Winnipeg is happy to share that we will be offering a beading workshop led by a Treaty 2 Anishinaabe artist & bead worker!
Join YACC and our community of young adult cancer survivors as we celebrate YACC’s 25th birthday. Localife leaders will act as our hosts for celebration happening on National Cancer Survivors Day across Canada! Event is open to young adults diagnosed with cancer, their supporters, and our YACC alumni community!
The evening will feature a traditional NL dish created by one of the province's top chefs, Todd Perrin, and delicious drinks from Wooden Walls Distilling and Quidi Vidi Brewing. To end the evening on a sweet note, Newfoundland Chocolate will have a sweet little something for each guest. The night will feature fun YACC activities, a live auction, nostalgia, laughter and likely a few tears. This one-of-a-kind milestone event is not to be missed. Come out and raise a glass to the last 25 years!
We will have a fun softball game, a kids kick-ball game, as well as lots of family activities. Come spend a day in the park, connect with new and old friends. All are welcome to join in the fun!
Localife Ottawa will be participating in a small group tour of the Ingenium Centre Collection Tour at the Science and Technology Museum!

This year we'll be attending a production of The Two Gentlemen of Verona - an 80s twist and the only dog role in the Shakespearean canon who's played by a real dog! After the show, we have a table booked at Bridges, a Tap & Barrel Restaurant on Granville Island, for some appies. It's about a 20min walk from Bard on the Beach along the beautiful sea wall. We hope to have a few cars available to utilize as well.

Localife Winnipeg will be going axe throwing at Axe Throwing Winnipeg! No experience needed - we’ll have staff on hand to guide us, and we’ll also have pizza and soda while we enjoy each other's company!
There is many different things we can do, there is mini golf, a playground for the kids, a beach as well as paddle boats. This is a family friendly event, although please keep in mind space will be limited as there is a total of 40 spots. Link below to register.
