This year we'll be attending a production of The Two Gentlemen of Verona - an 80s twist and the only dog role in the Shakespearean canon who's played by a real dog! After the show, we have a table booked at Bridges, a Tap & Barrel Restaurant on Granville Island, for some appies. It's about a 20min walk from Bard on the Beach along the beautiful sea wall. We hope to have a few cars available to utilize as well.
Localife Winnipeg will be going axe throwing at Axe Throwing Winnipeg! No experience needed - we’ll have staff on hand to guide us, and we’ll also have pizza and soda while we enjoy each other's company!
There is many different things we can do, there is mini golf, a playground for the kids, a beach as well as paddle boats. This is a family friendly event, although please keep in mind space will be limited as there is a total of 40 spots. Link below to register.
Tickets and lights snacks will be provided! This game is part of Baseball Fights Cancer, a special night where all three Canadian Frontier League teams are raising awareness and funds in partnership with the Canadian Cancer Society! it is a great opportunity to show up and represent the Localife community!
The evening will kick off with a movie in the theater room, followed by a BBQ in the building’s barbecue area. To top it all off, our community member and YACC Chats Leader, Moji, will also be directing a Virtual Reality Experience! Come hang out, connect, and enjoy some great food and entertainment.
The Climb is back! Bring your kids, bring your strollers, bring your pets and parents! Let’s fill the hill like we used to with a sea of support for young adults facing some of the toughest times of their lives. We look forward to seeing you there!
Whether you're feeling crafty, or just want to hang out and build with Lego, we're embracing all things creative! This is also a great chance to make some YACC mail! We'll have supplies for cards, and small items to send to YACCers. Stamps will be available and you're welcome to bring your own crafting supplies too. There is free parking nearby, and the library is accessible by public transit. We hope to see you there!
