Yes that’s right, departure. Of course I haven’t received the go ahead from the Doc’s yet, nor have I seen a Doc in a few days, but I am getting to the point where I really feel I know more than they do. So as I wake up from the first good night’s sleep I’ve had in over 2 weeks I have decided that today is a good day to “depart”. I have put in the request to meet with the Doc’s, but when they will actually show is always a mystery, unless of course I happen to be settling in for a nice mid-afternoon nap or something.
A while ago I touched on some of the things that I miss, well as my body finally rids itself of all those chemicals and I regain some sound thought processes, my mind has switched to where every man’s mind ultimately switches, his stomach!!!! Holy Hannah, my appetite took all of 3 minutes to return and it happened at such an inconvenient time, around 11:30 the other night. Anyway, long story short I proceeded to have to best Bacon n’ Egger of my life yesterday and at present I am anxiously waiting the arrival of my second Egger in as many days. Again, I think this relates to those little positives I talked about over XMAS, except that when that baby arrives there is nothing little about the smile on my face. I think it is a safe bet that I’m on the mend when I spend the better part of an hour on the phone talking about all the wonderful foods that I am going to eat upon my “release” from the Eaton Complex. I believe I mentioned some of them the other day so I won’t repeat.
Just a short message today, as I must go mentally prepare for the arrival of my A&W Egger. I will write to let you know how the day goes, hopefully I will get out of here this aft, but if not certainly sometime over the next few days.
Have a great day,
Geoff

Quick note, to let you all know that I no longer have a superior craving for Tacos and that I am home. I got the boot around 3:30 this afternoon and have been relaxing home ever since. I tackled my first set of stairs in 3 weeks, and that was no small feat.
Thought you would like to know, have a great night and I will check-in soon.
