"YACC came into my life at just the right time"
Shannon Goddard says life was simpler and happier before she was diagnosed with cancer, even when she was a student studying to be an Engineer Technologist and a single mother to a two-year-old daughter. Then, in January 2012 at the age of 31, she was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Sneak peek: Zip lining
A carabiner and a harness is all that separates you from the North Atlantic coastline. The lines are so fast that some burn through braking gloves. The trees don’t mind getting in your personal space. Sounds like fun!

We indulged in some great conversation, good food, and even better company on a lovely patio off Whyte Avenue prior to taking in some culture and finest popcorn in the city at the historic Garneau theatre.
