Since the beginning of my cancer journey 15 months ago, I have never felt has safe to speak my mind and be my real, authentic self as I did in that group. It was so, unbelievably safe, and they got “it,” they “got me,” and I “got them.”

Localife Calgary: Egg paintin'/egg huntin'
The egg hunt was sun filled, and fun for the kids. (We were hoping to get some leftover chocolate.) The egg painting turned out beautiful. (I probably haven’t painted an egg since I was 12, and it was so awesome.)
