Give young adult cancer survivors a "passion for life" this holiday season
This year, many young adults like Becky will have wishes on their lists that they would not have imagined. Becky was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2002 when she was 17-years-old. She had a lot of love and support from her family and friends, but she still struggled with fatigue, loneliness, and a fear of the unknown.

A sex-free hook-up?
Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC) brought 170 members of the YACC community together in a new and exciting way on November 30, 2013. The Big Cancer Hook-up created a nationwide networking opportunity for young people who are dealing with cancer diagnoses.

Localife Ottawa gets a new leader at the year 2 kickoff
The Localife leaders barbecued hamburgers, hot dogs, and veggie burgers while everyone else enjoyed a great tray full of vegetables. We had a great turnout of both new and returning participants alike and we all enjoyed a lovely sunset sitting out on the patio at Maplesoft.
