The Mount Pearl Blades came back for the second Shave of the 2017 Shave season at the year-end banquet on May 16, 2017.
Shave squad Isaiah, Nathan, Owen, and Tyler were joined by Mount Pearl Minor Hockey Association (MPMHA) president Trevor Murphy as they shaved their heads onstage in front of hundreds of cheering hockey players.
The Blades love to give back to their community, and YACC is honored to be a part of that. For their fourth year in a row participating in the Shave for the Brave, the Blades have raised $23,106 with 86 players and coaches going under the clippers to support young adults dealing with cancer.
