Did you know it costs about $1,000 to send one young adult to YACC’s Survivor Conference?
The Survivor Conference is Canada’s largest reunion of young adult cancer survivors and supporters. It’s more than an event, it’s a lifeline of connection, healing, and hope.
From November 6-9, 2025, in Calgary, AB, YACCers will come together to:
Connect with peers who “get it,” reducing the deep isolation that so often comes with cancer
Participants will take part in sessions on emotional health, mind-body wellness, and digital storytelling designed to nourish their mind, body, and spirit
Find joy and community through events like the YACC dance party, group outings, and YACC Remembers, where we honour those no longer with us
Leave feeling empowered, supported, and more confident in moving forward
But here’s the reality: many of our YAs cannot afford to attend on their own. Most haven’t had the time to build up savings or discretionary funds. Cancer often interrupts careers, education, and financial stability, making travel to a conference far out of reach.
One past participant shared:
“I left feeling more empowered, connected, and so much less isolated than I have felt in several years. You filled my cup with energy, support, and connection to carry me through.”

Your gift today helps make this possible. Please donate what you can—no gift is too small or too big—and know that every dollar gets us closer to sending another young adult to the Survivor Conference.

Together, we can ensure no young adult has to go through cancer alone. Every cancer, every stage, YACC’s got your back.
Always…
Live life. Love life.
