The first School’s Out Shave Party was held on June 21, 2016. Approximately 100 guests comprised of Shavers, parents, and supporters flocked to Axtion to cheer on a few “last call” Shavers, celebrate their hard work over many months, and enjoy one of the Northeast Avalon’s main attractions!
Six Shavers stepped up to lose their locks that night, including Andrew who had grown his hair for a year and a half, and Nora who was getting her first major haircut!
Nathan and Jack previously Shaved at their school’s event this year, but they were itching to get back in the hot seat to bring the look back for summer!
While the School’s Out Shave Party was the last scheduled community event for the season, it definitely won’t be the last. We’ve heard from teams, groups, and associations who want to take the event through the summer!
