A few weeks ago we put a call out for Samantha Yee who was recruiting five female survivors for her fertility research. A lot of you have helped her out already, and now she’s on to the next phase of her project. She asked to share this message with you:
Fertility is an under-researched area in cancer care, and there are limited data on how the oncology system deals with the fertility concerns of young adults with cancer. The Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto is seeking female cancer survivors to participate in an online anonymous survey study on “cancer, fertility, and motherhood.” The survey will take approximately 30 to 45 minutes to complete.
Eligiblity requirements:
- female cancer survivor;
- received a cancer diagnosis after 2000;
- between the age of 18 and 39 when diagnosed with cancer;
- received cancer treatment in Canada; and,
- have completed cancer treatment.
