It takes longer to recover from cancer than to be treated for it, and Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC) is conducting the Recover Study to better understand the quality of life for Canadian young adults diagnosed with cancer over time.

Suggested post 2:
Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC)’s last research project has shown that young adults with cancer face challenges like:
- Isolation
- Infertility
- Body image struggles
- Lower quality of life
- Disruptions in life and career milestones
- And more!
YACC is digging in deeper with the Recover Study to understand how cancer affects the lives of those diagnosed before the age of 40 so we can change it – and YACC needs your voice!
Sign up at www.recoverstudy.ca to take the survey to make sure your unique experience is included. It should take about 35 minutes to complete, and YACC is offering a $20 honorarium as a token of our appreciation!

Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC) knows cancer is different for young adults, but we don’t really know a lot about how it’s different for men.
Men traditionally have lower representation in research studies, and YACC is hoping to change that with the Recover Study.
The Recover Study is a community-led, long-term study that will tell us more about the unique experiences and issues young adults face after a cancer diagnosis so we can help make it better. Sign up to share your voice and change what it means to recover from cancer!
