On May 27, 2016, the Public Service Credit Union hosted its third Shave for the Brave in their branch on Ropewalk Lane, St. John’s NL.
Two fearless employees and loyal Shavers, Sean Kilpatrick and Ian Barrett, parted with their locks for the third time. Customers wandered in and out of the branch and stared with amazement. Seeing somebody Shave their head in the middle of a bank isn’t something you see every day, but it certainly gets the message out there to help support young adults dealing with cancer.
The Public Service Credit Union has been such a big help this year, and have managed to raise a total of over $2,725! They have even gone the extra mile to help YACC round up some potential Shavers from various government offices. Big shout out to Head Hunter Wanda Keats for doing such a fabulous job with making their Shave a success.
