The mountains at Whistler Blackcomb experienced an unprecedented year of unseasonably warm and dry weather, but that didn’t stop Localife Vancouver from getting up at the crack of dawn and heading to the hills for our third annual trip to Whistler!
There was hardly any snow on the ground at the base but once we get our heads above the clouds, the white fluffy stuff was everywhere to enjoy!
We had a great mix of YACCers who’d never tried skiing and snowboarding before to those who shred weekly.
Our instructors from Whistler Blackcomb/Vail Resorts were Chris, Conor, Finn, and Mads and they brought the energy, the knowledge and the hype!
We enjoyed lunch all together at the top of Whistler Mountain and got our traditional group photo at the Olympic Rings.
We are thankful to Epic Rides for our journey up here, our instructors for their wisdom and fun, Whistler Blackcomb/Vail Resorts for providing us with the gear, the lift passes, and the lessons — and of course to YACC for always having our backs.
