On a chilly Tuesday night in October, Localife St. John’s showed up at Mile One Centre to cheer on the Newfoundland Growlers as they played the Reading Royals. It was our largest event ever with 25 survivors and supporters.
Growlers Give also donated their Chuck-A-Puck proceeds to YACC that evening, raising almost $600! It was especially exciting to see all the pucks being thrown out onto the ice and know that each one represented a donation for YACC.
With a sweeping victory of 7-3, we all left the arena in high spirits from both the victory, and from some wonderful fun and quality time spent with each other!
