Hi YACCer!
Let’s spend a Sunday afternoon watching Project Hail Mary together at the movies.
YACC will provide the movie ticket as well as a medium fountain drink and medium popcorn for registered participants.
Localife events are for those who were diagnosed with cancer before the age of 40 and are currently between the ages of 18-39. You may invite a peer supporter who is also within the age range (ex. friend, spouse, sibling, etc.) where space permits. Some events are family-friendly, but you must register all attendees.
Date: Sunday, April 12, 2026
Time: Afternoon (Exact time TBC on April 8 when the listings come out)
Location: Landmark Kanata Centrum Theatre (801 Kanata Avenue, Kanata, ON, K2T 1E7)
Parking: Free at the theatre
Public transit: Short walk from Terry Fox Station
Accessibility info: The movie theatre is fully accessible
