YACC Web: Chats
Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
YACC Web: Chats provide a way for YACCers to connect in an easy, safe, and supportive environment. These chats are peer-led themed virtual conversations offered over Zoom by a team of YACC leaders.
We hold three live chats every week for young adults aged 18-39 years old, and are excited to announce we are launching a brand new biweekly chat for our LGBTQ+ community members on November 9!
We Get It
Posted Monday at 7 p.m. ET and available thereafter
YACC Web: Talks relaunched this week as We Get It, a weekly Monday webcast where we talk to a survivor, supporter, health professional, or lifestyle expert to help you live with, through, and beyond cancer! Videos will be posted on our website, YouTube channel, and our Facebook page.
Yakkity YACC: Late Night Chats
Every Friday at 8:30 p.m. ET
YACC is so excited to partner with Cancer Talks to bring you Yakkity YACC: Late Night Chats at 8:30 p.m. ET on Friday nights*! These chats are not intended to be a support group and there is no set weekly topic of discussion, it’s just an opportunity to hang out with some of your patient/survivor peers to chat about anything — cancer related or not.
This chat is open to members of the YACC alumni Facebook group. Please connect with [email protected] for more information on joining the group!
*These chats run late, so feel free to join at whatever time works for you.
Vendredi on jase!
First Friday of each month at 8 p.m. ET
In collaboration with Cancer Fight Club, YACCer Ariele is hosting a monthly chat for young adults dealing with cancer in the Francophone community!
The health and safety of our community members is our top priority during COVID-19, which means Localife looks a little different these days. The leaders have been busy, planning Netflix parties, virtual museum tours, chats, and more to help keep your communities connected.
Visit our website and click on the city closest to you to find out what’s happening in your area!
Please email [email protected] if you have questions on any of these programs!
