- Mother’s Day prize draw fundraiser – Brampton, ON (May 10, 2026)
Shari Klu of Brampton, Ontario is organizing a third party Mother’s Day prize draw in support of YACC! Tickets are $2 each or three for $5 and Shari will be drawing for over 50 incredible prizes! Winners will be drawn on May 10 and prizes must be picked up in Brampton, Ontario. - Katie’s 10-hour Dance-A-Thon: A Decade Cancer Free – Victoria, BC (May 23, 2026)
This year marks Katie’s 10 year anniversary of being cancer free. Through YACC she met other young adults also battling cancer and attended a retreat. Katie is grateful for the support she felt through YACC and would like to give back. Her goal is to raise $10,000 between January and May 2026 to donate to Young Adult Cancer Canada. In celebration of this milestone and to raise funds for YACC she is hosting a 10-hour dance-a-thon in Victoria, BC.
What is a third party event?
A third party event is a fundraiser that’s organized and executed by someone outside of YACC.
Examples:
- Golf tournament
- Hockey tournament
- Dodgeball tournament
- Bake sale
- Online auction
- Memorial walk
- Facebook donation drive
- And more!
