Thank you to these YACC Chats leaders!

YACC Chats started at the beginning of the pandemic as a way to keep our community connected and engaged as we all navigated feelings of uncertainty, anxiety, and isolation.

A lot of amazing YACCers have stepped up over the last two years to help lead these themed conversations, and today we are taking a moment to show our gratitude to some volunteers who have decided to move away from this leadership position in the last few months in pursuit of other opportunities or to make room for the next wave of leaders.

To Blair, Charissa, Gabrielle, Krista, and Mike, THANK YOU for all you have done! You have all shown tremendous compassion, guidance, and dedication as you have collectively led hundreds of chats for hundreds of young adults affected by cancer.

No numbers could portray the kindness and heart you have put into making everyone in your chats feel heard, seen, welcome, and safe. As some of the first leaders — and innovators! — of this program, you have made an immeasurable difference.

We wish you all the best in your future endeavours, and look forward to working with many of you in new ways.
