Anika Gentile, M.A. at the University of Toronto is inviting those diagnosed with testicular cancer to participate in a research study that aims to better understand the physical activity-specific supportive care needs of testicular cancer patients in order to guide the later development of a physical activity-specific supportive care intervention.
The study involves participating in one 30-minute individual interview (either face-to-face or by telephone). Your participation in this study is voluntary.
Your participation in this study will assist the researchers develop a program to help testicular cancer patients manage quality of life issues, increase physical activity, and engage in peer-to-peer support. Information gained from the individual interviews will be used to develop a physical activity intervention that will be pilot tested.
Participants will be offered a $10 coffee card for their involvement in the study.
This study has been reviewed and received ethics approval through the University of Toronto Research Ethics Board (Reference #33315). Participation in this study will assist the researchers in developing future programing to help testicular cancer patients manage quality of life issues, increase physical activity, and engage in peer-to-peer support.
