Kelly (she/her) is caring, kind, and positive. She is a young adult cancer survivor.
After being diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2013 at the age of 31, Kelly underwent chemotherapy and radiation and was declared in remission in 2014.
She connected with YACC in 2015 when she attended her first Survivor Conference. Since then, she has participated in and volunteered for most YACC programs. Retreat Yourself was a particular highlight.
The understanding and caring that she received from people who barely knew her bonded Kelly to the YACC family and that is why she wants to give back.
