DESCRIPTION:The energy sector fuels the economy and way of life in Newfoundland and Labrador\, employing thousands of people across the province. But what truly sets this industry apart is its commitment to community and its deep-rooted philanthropic spirit\, a proud tradition of giving back and supporting meaningful causes. \nIn partnership with Young Adult Cancer Canada (YACC)\, the energy industry has embraced the Energy Shave\, raising over $800\,000 since its launch in 2021 to support young adults living with\, through and beyond cancer. \n\n\nThe 2024 Energy Shave was a powerful lunchtime event that brought together more than 250 industry professionals\, 75 sponsors and raised over $300\,000 for YACC. \nThis year let’s challenge ourselves to go even further. More shavers\, more sponsors\, and an even bigger impact. Together\, we can raise the bar and help YACC reach even more young adults across Canada who need their support. \n\n\nLearn more and donate!
