Travel Assistance

The Survivor Conference is free to young adult survivors/patients and one supporter. Young Adult Cancer Canada covers the cost of food and accommodations for the weekend, we only ask that you cover the cost of travel to St-John’s if you can. If you are unable to cover this travel cost, we do have travel assistance available to help.

TRAVEL ASSISTANCE

Young Adult Cancer Canada has travel assistance available which is based on need and distance. This year, we are able to cover up to 50% of your ticket cost to a maximum of what is allowed for your province. Here is the travel assistance per province:

NS $150.00
NB $150.00
PEI $150.00
QC $250.00
ON $250.00
MB $350.00
SK $350.00
AB $400.00
BC $400.00

This means: If your ticket cost $500 and you are in MB, we will give you a travel assistance of $250 (up to 50%). If your ticket is $750 and you are in MB, we will give you $350 (up to the maximum allowed for your province).
