Young Adult Cancer Canada > Survivor Conference > Eligibility
Eligibility
Who can attend?
Young Adult Patients/Survivors & their Supporter:
- Patients/Survivors: Must have had a cancer diagnosis of any type or any stage between the ages of 18 and 39 ish and you must currently be between the ages of 18 and 39 ish… (If this isn’t you, fire us an email anyway, we are known to bend the rules on occasion);
- Supporters: Can be a friend, sibling, spouse or partner also aged between 18 and 39 ish – sorry but no parents
A small suggestion to maximize your experience: In choosing your Supporter, ask yourself:”Would I be comfortable discussing ... in front …” If the answer is yes, you and your Supporter will probably get more out of the experience and enjoy the Conference to the fullest.
- Both must be able to attend the entire conference program (Thursday to Monday morning).
If you prefer to come on your own or if your Supporter can’t make the dates, don’t let this stop you and no worries, many people come solo as well!
If this is you…go ahead and Apply. Spaces are limited so don’t think about it too long.
