Localife

Localife is an activity-based group where young adult cancer survivors enjoy fun activities and connect with their survivor peers.

Vision

Young adult cancer survivors and their supporters will feel a genuine sense of belonging in a supportive community and will no longer name isolation as the number one challenge they face in their cancer journeys.

Mission

To provide regular opportunities for young adult cancer survivors and supporters to come together to enjoy fun activities and the benefits of peer support.

We are currently piloting the program in Calgary but are planning on expanding to Edmonton, Toronto, and Ottawa in the summer of 2012. Stay tuned for more info!

Are you in another city?

Phase two of this program is far from the final phase; we plan on rolling out to more cities once we establish our existing markets. We'll also have nation-wide events where possible, so please email shali@youngadultcancer.ca to be added to the mailing list and stay in the loop!
