Retreat Yourself Adventure 2012

WHAT ARE THE CRITERIA TO COME ON AN ADVENTURE?

It all depends on the Adventure. It is important that you have a minimum level of fitness, and it's good if you have attended some sort of program where you've shared with other young adults about you cancer experience such as the Survivor Conference, posting a profile, or another type of group.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO COME ON AN ADVENTURE?

YACC will cover the cost of the program, food, and accommodations, but survivors and supporters are expected to pay for their transportation to the event. There is travel assistance available for those who may need it. Please email katie@youngadultcancer.ca for more information.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP, AND WHAT IS THE PROCESS?

The program can fill up very quickly. To sign up, you must first fill out an application form. If we need more information, we might set up a quick phone call to make sure you’re good to go. Once this is completed, you will receive a pre-trip package, which includes more info on the adventures, and a waiver form, which must be completed and sent back (scan or fax). Once this is done you can go ahead and book your flights.
